This painting is a reminder to embrace the mystery. Sometimes you just don't know and that's OK.

I often joke with my partner when I'm having a moment of struggle about what's the point?
Gareth always jokes back that there isn't one. At that precise moment it's like a weight is lifted and and I actually get the thing done!
I always find myself seeking out this painting whenever I need to feel calmer and focussed. I let go of the need to control every outcome and the wonderful feeling of a peaceful existence returns.
If you'd like to chat about this piece, I'd love to hear what draws you to it.
Get in touchThe moment
When you reach the summit of Moel Eilio, this is the view that greets you when looking South.
It's a familiar peak and I'd "ummed and arred" about setting off. I'm spoilt living here, and like the brat I was this day, that very same familiarity left me complacent.
I set off with little motivation, but on reaching the summit it suddenly felt different. Looking across to the Nantlle Ridge, cotton clouds danced across the sky, and I was tricked into thinking I was in another place.
I suppose it gave me a mental reset. All that emotional baggage and high expectations was released and I have a wonderful feeling of being "reset".
