Cosy sunrise
An early morning run as the colder months arrive. The plan was to catch the new day from the summit of Lliwedd.

Late November and it's getting cold. The winters can be hard here. To cope I try and catch a sunrise before the weather sets in for the day.
It's a game of probability. More often than not, it seems, the chances are weighted towards pea-soup. On this day I lucked out. The mist was slowly dissolving. Just a viel remained, softening the shadows in the valley.
What caught me at this spot was the contrast of the warm colours of sunrise with the cool purplish tones of the shadows and the way that Moel Siabod seemed to levitate above the sun-lit clouds.
